If I have to reschedule, is there a fee? What is your cancellation policy?

We understand timing and elements can be dynamic. We honor reschedule requests to the best of our ability. Please know that our team typically receives photography scheduling request 2-3 weeks in advance and our calendar is filled 1-2 weeks in advance. Costs of doing business include scheduling editing time, dedicating resources/equipment, and reserving calendar time for your photography session. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the photography session yield a net loss for our business as we are unable to recoup that time for another photography session while maintaining the cost of doing business from our side.

For real estate photography: we provide rescheduling at no cost for requests made outside of 72 hours from the photography session.  If a rescheduling or cancellation request is made due to elements completely outside of our team’s control and not due to natural elements, we charge a fee of 50% of the project cost if the request is made within 48 hours.  If a request to reschedule is made within 24 hours of the appointment, we charge a 100% fee.  The reason is simple: on such short notice we cannot reschedule the lost time and we still have to pay our staff.  We promise to be prompt and respectful with your time, we kindly ask the same in return.

We understand various elements can play a role in rescheduling requests. Homeowners deciding to post-pone, contractors unable to finish a commitment such as painting or repairs, delays in furniture delivery or staging complement. However, these circumstances are completely our of our team’s control and we trust our client partners to manage their projects appropriately.

For large scale projects and multimedia requests, a deposit of 50% of the project cost is collected prior to services beginning to solidify our collaboration and finance preparations, with the remaining 50% collected on the start date of your project. If a cancellation is made 15 days or more outside of your project start, Aerial Photo Media will agree to refund 50% of the collected deposit. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the project start time, Aerial Photo Media retains the right to hold deposited funds to cover all costs, resources, and time dedicated to the project. Said funds also recoup any losses due to opportunity costs from rendering time on our booking calendar unavailable to accommodate said project. Aerial Photo Media will happily apply held deposits from cancellations to future projects, in the form of a credit, if redeemed within 18 months from the original scheduled project, and all terms being agreeable for future project(s).
