Of the many positive uses and implementations of drone technology, it seems survey and search for water can be a very plausible application in the near future. But what about cloud seeding? This is a phenomenal use that I’ve never heard of or even thought possible. It seems by the end of 2014 (now) we’re going to have drones seeding the sky with silver iodide to help transform vapor in to rain & snow producing clouds. CBS posted an interesting video on the topic being used in Lake Tahoe.
