Drones in the Jungle

When Aerial Photo Media first launched, I was commonly asked the question “what is your end goal with this business?” My answer was quite simple: “film amazing things in remote areas where you cannot get a helicopter, such as Pyramids or ancient monuments.”

Well a few years later, we find ourselves at the forefront of aerial marketing and data collection, but the dream of being involved of archaeology is still very much alive at Aerial Photo Media and it’s great to see the industry going down that very road. About a year ago in Ecuador, a team of researchers utilized drones to survey what could potentially be an ancient temple deep in the Ecuadorian jungles.
